Each culture has it own stories and myths. these form part of the style of each pattern. A wonderful collection of many different approaches; and a joy to seee.0 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Five StarsBy JonesyGreat book.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Richly illustrated and well organizedBy AstaThis is exactly the book I was looking for. Many explanations but also richly illustrated by high quality pictures (great focus on details; patterns; etc). However I give it only 4 stars because the photos are never dated. I found this quite frustrating; I would like to understand the historical background behind each item presented. Other than that; again; great balance between photos and text. Highly recomended.
