It has information on witch hunting in specific countries; information on famous witch trials or famous individuals tried as witches; information on topics and practices; etc. Each entry has a works cited at the end. This is helpful so that 1) you know the author has done their research; and 2) the bibliographies tell you where to look for more information on said topic. This is recommended for anyone interested in European witchcraft history; or Early Modern history in general.4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Price is RightBy C. HardinThis book provides brief descriptions...not totally in depth; but very informative; nonetheless. Topics are easily found and cover a broad range. At this price; it's an inexpensive and useful tool for any lay person interested in the subject of the witch hunts. Enough information is given to spark interest in further reading.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Five StarsBy Andrew WexlerVery well done.
