There are about 112 photos of veterans with short bios below each and 80 pages of very pithy bios of other veterans. This is a great resource for looking up veterans who were active in the United Confederate Veterans. The big draw back is the quality of the reproduction. The photos are basically photocopy quality; with some being better than that. The text can be fuzzy and difficult to read. Having seen the original edition; I'd hoped for a better scanned copy.
