He was imperfect; and didn't let that stop him; he drove on to do the right things. Washington is not the legend we were taught in school; he is much more interesting and capable than that.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Excellent reference. Get your family to read this bookBy rufusExcellent reference. Get your family to read this book. I still wonder why we do not honor him with a special day and parades. Our greatest American.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Very poor editing; interesting stories of WashingtonBy D MauerIt’s so poorly edited; at least in the Kindle version; that it’s tough to read. So much great substance but I couldn’t get through it because at some points it read like nonsense. I’d love to recommend this but read at your own risk.
