I think my one complaint (if it can be called that) is the breadth of coverage vs depth of coverage. On the other hand; this is intended as a semester-length introductory course text so my expectations may be a bit high. There are; after all; other texts that can be used as supplements; let alone other books to be read on the topics within this text. Indeed; one should never rely on a single source for history so; all in all; not a bad book - I just wish it had carried a little more detail to allow for more critical thinking on the topics included.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
