It was extremely helpful when I had to study WWII in the Pacific....Unfortunately; my Daddy passed and between my mom and brother they wouldn't let me have this book which reminds me of him so much. Especially; since he was on the USS Dale (DD-354) at Pearl Harbor and went thru all the major battles in the Pacific. Dad had one and now I do too.By M. R. AndrusMy dad was a WWII Navy veteran who ran convoys in the Atlantic. In fact; his destroyer; the USS Badger; gets a mention for a successful attack on a German submarine. He had a copy that I loved to peruse as a kid. I just purchased a copy and now it sits proudly in my bookcase. Maybe my grandson will find it one day and appreciate what his great-grandfather did.
