This collection of Indological and Iranological essays; originating in a conference held at the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities in honor of veteran Israeli Vedic scholar Shaul Migron; presents a rich selection of Indo-Iranian scholarship from Israel; the U.S. and Europe. The volume has four major thematic and textual foci: (1) the language of the Vedas; (2) the study of ancient Indian ritual and its refractions in the epic; (3) classical Iranist and comparative Indo-European studies; and (4) Sanskrit poetics; in particular from the period of innovative synthesis in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries in southern India. These essays; in the Jerusalem tradition of meticulous philological research; shed light on major aspects of language; ritual and poetics in ancient India and Iran.

When they are this good; this complete and all in one publication! I had been scouring web pages for months looking for detailed photos of the T-38 for my scale R/C project. Saw this book; ordered it and was delighted with the content. There is not a lot of text but the photos are clear and plentiful. Systems are covered in order: Nose; cockpit; fuselage; wings; landing gear; tail; etc. There are several pages of 3-views in 1/72 scale. Very useful for scaling up or down.I recommend this book!0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Five StarsBy HankExcellent book with detailed photos and references. Talons A through CBy vaughn PriceI learned more about the T-38C from reading this book and looking at the excellent pictures taken than I had since I learned of the upgrades to the Talons years ago. There was some history of the Talons I did not know and now I do. I realy enjoyed and appreciate the work that went into to this book. The changes between the A and C models are so significant and so much needed. I would still go back and work on them in a minute. Talon fan? Get this book. Old T-38A maintainer? Get the book and see the differences in the Talon C. Well written and again excellent photographs. Now if someone will do a history tying the T-38; F-5; and F-20 together. That's one I would buy in a heartbeat!
