A remarkable book with research to boggle the mind.By Rich MarshThey have sure done their research. Not only did they research all the German sources; they also checked into Allied sources on the same sinking. It helps eliminate my monolithic view of the Kriegsmarine. The various logs show a wide range of opinion and activity. My one complaint is the frequent reference to events discussed in the co-volume of this book.... which I can't otherwise find.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. The missing link to WWII naval history researchBy Anthony MortFirst Class reference book which provided the AXIS operational logs for specific U-Boats which are key to my family history research.
