The book itself is interesting as it discusses USMC sniper history from WWII through Korea. It includes photos of military documents; orders; gear and rifles. It was more about the rifle and equipment used by the snipers than about their training or experiences; though this was also covered marginally. All and all; not a bad reference book. Book is full of facts if you are looking for a novel this is not for you !. One will keep it close by for reference for future equipment purchases . Letters and gov't reports inside the book backs up the facts.
