I was alone after the dig; so I visited Perperikon; relying on a local driver and a guide. Bulgaria is rich in culture; past and the lively present.Thracian Magic:Past Present contains photoprints of actual ancient writings; with the translations on the facing page. Info packedBy DervishI am not finished reading this book; but I am impressed with the amount of information Mishev packed inside of it. The only issue I have with the book is not the author's fault. This would be the English translation work. The text is awkward in places and it requires one to reread those passages. These pages describe a living tradition that can be traced all the way back to Babylon. And it is witchcraft as well. The real stuff.
