The Founders of Anne Arundel and Howard CountiesBy JoyI found this reference to be a very comprehensive history of both Anne Arundel and Howard Counties highlighting the genealogical history from early settlers through the 1900s. It is a composite of original wills; deeds and church records giving this book a degree of authentication which is only achieved by a lot of research and organization. It will be very helpful to me as I revisit important names and families who helped shape the county (Howard) where my history lies. The book arrived in a very timely manner and has introduced to manny aspects of families whose names I have heard and for whom my ancestors may have worked.
