Oh; how I enjoyed this!By LauraThis book is full of theatrical reminiscences by actors; composers; directors; costumers; and every other Broadway worker you can think of. The stories are fascinating; and nicely edited to retain the flavor of the narrator's speech without being slavishly incoherent -- a difficult thing to achieve. I love the way it's organized by theater; and by date for each theater. Usually I am reading several books at once; but after I started this I read nothing else all week. Lots of fun; even for someone like me who is not very knowledgeable about the theatre.
