So much of what I had learned in high school has been forgotten or not even touched on. I found this very interesting and the author made the reading very easy and understandable.1 of 6 people found the following review helpful. extremely boring. I won't be using this again in classBy miniguinea73extremely boring. I won't be using this again in class. it focuses on a very interesting period of our history that gets little attention; but discusses latin america purely from an american point of view. there is no voice other than the US present. the students did not enjoy this at all; and class discussion was not productive at all.
