The story is balanced; includes black; poor; and female perspectives. It is very readable. I only wish it were a bit longer. Did not aid in my scholarship at all!By Peter TaylorOne of the worse; most biased "textbooks" I have ever been forced to obtain. Added nothing to my understanding of this period. Is very elementary in its perspective. Was able to adequate write on the issues without the slanted view of this author. What a waste! I will be looking to sell this back as soon as the semester is over!
