This volume explores the perennial debate over Paul's understanding of and attitude toward the Mosaic Law. Sixteen outstanding international scholars examine the key passages in the letters of Paul that deal with the Jewish law. Their work not only provides a clearer view of the issues involved but also shows the range of interpretive approaches now being used in this important area of study.Contributors: John M. G. Billy McDonald in China with Clare ChennaultBy Anne WheelerAs a student of the AVG; CNAC; and CBI theater in WWII; this book was a good addition to my library. A lot of effort went in to creating this book which is based on the history of Billy McDonald. Most of the book was taken from Billy's letters and photographs when he was an Air Corps trainee/pilot; plus his years in China flying for Chennault and later for CNAC. I enjoyed this book; but it is like reading a scrap book; which made it more difficult for me to read. I recommend this book for those who enjoy reading about the China air war before and during WWII. Billy was a flight instructor for Chennault in China and not an active member of the Flying Tigers (AVG). Just keep that in mind as you consider this book.3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Great Book !By EC THUSTONGreat book about the "Flying Tigers" and the war in China. It is so interesting as it is compiled of actual letters and pictures sent home by Billy McDonald; wingman to Chennault. Superb reading for the history and war buff. Written by McDonald's children who did a vey complex job researching and putting all the pieces together. It's a real collectible.4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Proud sonBy CustomerI cannot put into words how touching this book has been for many people and myself especially. I am the son of the author William C. McDonald III and I watched my father spend over 6 years of his life crafting this tribute to his father. I knew very little about my grandfather before my dad started this project. It is amazing to see the life these men lived at an amazing time in history. My father has truly honored the legacy of a little known American hero and the heroes who lived with him. Thanks to everyone involved including my father; mother; and Barb Evenson.
