Description

Framed as a dialog between the king of the Khazars; a Central Asian kingdom; and a Rabbi; the Khazari is an exposition of late medieval Jewish philosophy. Legend has it that the king of the Khazars held a symposium to decide whether his people should convert to Judaism; Christianity or Islam. This book is an account of the Jewish side of this debate.

Although this book is written by a die-hard researcher his phraseology makes the book an easy read. He gets right to the facts w/o out carelessly wasting paper and ink to prove his case. Lee Cummings closes the coffin in this volume; believe that! He accomplishes what he set out to do that is proving Hebrew History w/o using the "Hebrew's Book" (i.e. the Scriptures) as primary source. In this book Mr. Cummings allows history; archeology and first-hand eyewitnesses to represent and defend his case. This book is truly inestimable in its value I advise you to add this one to your library.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. An eye opener!By shielddoveWOW! Very informative!
