This book is a description of the actions of the U. S. Marine Corps during the Korean War; as seen by a senior Korean Marine Corps Officer. The book is an English version of a book originally published in Korean. The book covers the start of the 1950 Korean War through the signing of the armistice on July 27 1953. When first published in Korea; the then ROK Marine Corps Commandant made the book required reading for all Korean Marine Corps officers.
