A rude awakening to so many readers and relatives of the persecutedBy citizen fact checkerI am so glad the many; many pages of this dairy were collected and put into book form. The saga is indeed a sad one; but one which we should all read. As I slowly read of the dreadful occurrences inflicted on Jewish people and others in the camps and ghettos of Lithuania between 1939-1944; I wonder that such evil could exist.
