The three chapters dealing with the personal experience of battle in Agincourt; the Somne; and Waterloo; are really the only interesting part. It was as if you hovered over the scene to see the terrain; the gathering of forces ; the development of the battle ; how the weak spots were taken advantage of and the denouement or conclusion . Besides being above one was placed inside the minds of generals down to peasants or privates.
