Join BC member Charles Sheldon in this wonderful book recording two years of field experiences while engaged in studying wild sheep of Yukon Territory from 1904 to 1905. This detailed account is strictly from the point of view of a hunter interested in natural history. Sheldon travelled by steamboat; canoe; pack horses and on foot as he was accompanied by other well known explorers of his generation such as Frederick C. Selous; William H. Osgood; and Carl Rungius.

I read this about 5 years ago and have recently purchased one for a friend and a relative. It is very well written and documented . Hopefully; this information will stir people to insist that investigations by officials be done to put an end to this horrific plague of vampires.4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. A great read of a disturbing topic...By DavI thoroughly enjoyed The Franklin Scandal: A Story of Powerbrokers; Child Abuse Betrayal; it was fast paced; deeply researched and very well written. This is a must read for anyone that is interested in understanding what can happen in the US when too much power is in the hands of too few. Add to that the few are also sexually perverted and you have the making of a scandal that had to be covered up regardless of the human cost.Once you have read The Franklin Scandal: A Story of Powerbrokers; Child Abuse Betrayal; you will never look at the news and the US criminal justice system the same.Extremely affecting to say the least...0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
