The book reviews the history of both airframe and engine development from roughly the early 1940s that made possible the final culmination of this amazing supersonic transport. It is complete in its discussion of the Concorde's flight parameters and place in society. There are several books on the Concorde; I bought this one; because it is recommended by a retired British Airways Concorde captain whom I heard speak.
