There are brilliant asides on everything from when and how commanders should disobey orders; up to grand strategy for coalition building. If you have read any of Winston Churchill's histories; the tone is very similar. And there is a minute examination of the clash of the fleets on October 21. If you are interested in this campaign and its times; this is one to get.
