In this book; you ll learn about the history of Black people. I don t mean the history you learned in school; which most likely began with slavery and ended with the Civil Rights Movement. Im talking about Black history BEFORE that. Long before that. In this book; well cover over 200;000 years of Black history. For many of us; that sounds strange. We can t even imagine what the Black past was like before the slave trade; much less imagine that such a history goes back 200;000 years or more.Part Two covers history from 20;000 years ago to the point of European contact. This is the time that prehistoric cultures grew into ancient urban civilizations; a transition known to historians as the Neolithic Revolution.

Wealth of Information/ExtrabiblicalBy Sandra AngellAn extra-Biblical book that I am so glad was found and made available to us who love to search out truth of times past!! Jubilees is well written and easy to understand. It adds more insight to our understanding of the early years of human existence!!!2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. truth incredibly mind blowingBy NARTAZENI've always wondered what was going on 40 days and 40 nights when Moses spent that time before the presence of the Lord presence of the angel of Godwell this is amazing totally amazing mind blowing a true masterpiece and I think dear Mr Joseph Lumpkin for once again bringing forth great truth0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Cartoon strip bible studies...By Pork HuntNot impressed! I've previously read Jasher and Enoch; and was looking forward to getting this.Thought it was written for school kids.Yeah it's hard going reading old bible scripts; but I would have preferrred an original text to something that was 'dumbed down'.I disagree with quite a few of the interpretations. If anyone can point me to an original text I'd read that.I bought it on the promise of the authors preamble; but did not deliver; and I believe the author has interpreted and annotated a few phrases into the text. The introduction was good; if He'd stuck to that interpretation style I might have actually read it through instead of skipping all the material I was already familair with and had read in far more detail.2 stars; I found the story about Satan;s interaction with God; and God allowing that; and Shem's son finding Nephilim text on the wall; and uncovering Noah's nakedness; there's more to that story than (abuse)... would like to read more on those topics.Overall a fail.
