The Archetypal Sunni Scholar: Law; Theology; and Mysticism in the Synthesis of al-Bajuri

DOC The Archetypal Sunni Scholar: Law; Theology; and Mysticism in the Synthesis of al-Bajuri by Aaron Spevack in History

Description

INTO EGYPT AGAIN WITH SHIPS explains the spiritual implications regarding the more than 250 years of chattel slavery; 100 years of Jim Crow; semi-permanent underclass status; and loss of true identity that "African Americans" have suffered in the United States. This book also reveals the biblical solution that will lead to the complete liberation of a people. All those who have descended from slaves; and consider themselves to be "Negro"; "Black"; or "African American" should have the audacity to read this book.

This book is an excellent guide to current scholars as what their role should be as well to lay muslims who often have negative views of scholars and expect them more to be political activists rather preservers; interpreters and spiritual conduits of the Islamic tradition. Political activism cannot take on a proper role with balanced understanding of Islamic scholarship that is based in Iman; Islam and Ihsan. This books shows who these three simple terms we expanded; expounded and applied in the context of islamic scholarship tradition.
