This would be a great book for a junior high history class. CrabtreeNative Americans fought in both Union and Confederate units during the Civil War and the Indian Territory saw its share of battles and campaigns; some of which spilled into nearby states. Some of the detail is a bit mind-numbing but if you are a reenactor or modeler this is probably the kind of detail that you need. The photos and artwork make this a must-have if this chapter of U.S. history is of interest to you.
