Great Addition to our Guidebook GroupBy KevinExcellent-accurate descriptions (thus far) of trails; with numerous options as to routes to each summit.Have done a few since getting the book and changed our route to Tecumseh because of it-glad we didsince we enjoyed the trail from Tripoli Road very much and I think is maybe better than that from the skiarea. Looking forward to utilizing this book on future hikes; along with the AMC White Mountain Guide and"60 Best Day Hikes of the White Mountains". Also like the lists in the back of the book which detail viewingpotential for each summit.7 of 7 people found the following review helpful. The bible of the Four Thousand FootersBy Frank L. PinterI bought this book when I decided to hike the official 48 four thousand footers in the White Mountains. It has proved to be an invaluable aid in my planning and implementing hiking to the top of each. To date I have hiked to the top of 31 of the 48 and hope to complete them all in the upcoming season. If you are a peakbagger or just want to climb some mountains in the Whites; this is the book to have. The other book that is a must have is the White Mountain Guide; written by the same two people.3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Must have book if hiking the NH 4000 footersBy Tom MusserMust have book if you are climbing the NH 4000 footers. I relied on this book more than the AMC book (written by the same people) as this book was categorized by the individual mountains instead of being categorized by the trail. Must have if hiking the big guys of NH
