The stories of converts are so inspiring that I feel as if I convert to my own Catholic faith every day. I know why I am a Catholic; but I still can't wrap my head around why those of different faiths; who may hate Catholics or have radically different dogmas; are attracted to the Catholic Church in such a way that they feel they are saying "no" to God if they don't convert. I suppose we take our faith for granted. And no we don't worship statues or Mary; the Pope; or cookies. We worship God; and Jesus is our Lord; our savior; our king; and our brother. Amen.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Read this book and you might be surprised; too.By R. BellAn excellent compilation of stories about people who viewed the Catholic Church very negatively. However; after circumstances caused them to look much deeper into the history and teachings of the Church; they were greatly surprised. Their previous views about the Church were not at all accurate. In fact; as they delved into honest and earnest investigation it became increasingly clear to them that the best path to Jesus was through the Catholic Church. An honest; thought provoking book that will introduce one to the Catholic Church.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
