She covers the major aspects of religion and how it worked for the Romans without getting bogged down in the immense details. It enlightens and alludes to the depth of information about Roman religion while keeping a very readable text and avoiding many pitfalls of academic writing. An excellent read!3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Useful and detailed enough for someone new to the subjectBy Benzin63Warrior does a very good using examples to explain Roman religion. Especially for someone who is new to this area of history. It isn't overwhelming with details; but it has enough to get the main points across. A very well rounded; basic book on Roman religion and good basis point for anyone looking to understand it.
