Encouraging for those that are Zealous for God's WordBy Kelly BlevinsThis is by far one of the best books on the reformers and the times in which they lived. This gives hope to me in my endeavors to witness to a culture who twists and distorts the Word of God. Standing for Truth will cause division and persecution. But take heart; he that is in you is greater than he that is in the world!2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Just in TimeBy Phil BErwin Lutzer's book on the Reformation has arrived just in time for the 500th anniversary of the beginning of the Reformation. This book is enjoyable to read; has some great illustrations;and reminds us of the how God used men like John Calvin and Martin Luther to rescue the gospel from ritualistic superstition and blasphemous abuses.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. A Really Good Read!By Ronald F. FinkEnjoyed this book immensely. I hadn't read much about the reformation in the past. What I knew about the reformers was limited to a few magazine articles or Christian movies that I saw when I was young in the faith. Being that this is the 500th anniversary year of Martin Luther nailing his 95 Theses to the Wittenburg church door I decided to purchase the book. I read through it in just a few days because it really captivated my interest and it helped to fill in some of the gaps of my own understanding of the reformation movement. I highly recommend it!
