Not Provable; Not Far-FetchedBy HouTexanI've read accounts of the Kennedy assassination which blamed respectively the Mob; LBJ; a gang of Texas oilmen; a cabal of American militarists; and yes; even a deluded loner. Now I read that Kennedy's death was the result of superpower political struggles gone awry.By blaming Khrushchev; the author at least keeps the matter within the range of rationality. Khrushchev killed his way to the top spot in the USSR. He killed others outside the USSR; and there's no doubt he had the means (a sophisticated murder apparatus); motive (revenge for personal humiliation and political failure); and opportunity to hit the Americans' young President. This analysis; whether correct or not; is at least more prosaic and makes more sense than most I've read.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. If you want to untrain yourself from the mountains of propoganda and disinformation surrounding the Kennedy assassination do yourself a favor and pick this book up. I used to think Oliver Stones film JFK seemed far fetched but probably had some truth to it.
