I know Florida. I was born in Florida during the reign of Jim Crow and have lived to see black astronauts blasted into the heavens from Cape Canaveral. For three quarters of a century I have lived mostly in Florida. I have seen her flowers and her warts. This book is about both. People of African descent have been in Florida from the arrival of Ponce de Leon in 1513; yet our presence in the state is virtually hidden. A casual glance at most Florida history books depict African Americans primarily as laborers who are shown as backdrops to white history. The history of blacks in Florida has been deliberately distorted; omitted and marginalized. We have been denied our heroes and heroines. Our stories have mainly been left untold. This book lifts the veil from some of these stories and places African Americans in the very marrow of Florida history.

Imperative reading for the curious.By JDI have read a few of King's books; but with Planet Rothschild; he positions himself as arguably the world's leading authority within the truth movement.I must caution the reader in advance - Reading Planet Rothschild will not make you a happier person; but it will make you informed as to the true agendas within the world and who is behind them.I also caution the reader to beware of negative reviews; there are many people who would like to keep the world in the dark; it is how they have and continue to get away with what they're doing; by keeping the people ignorant. If a negative reviewer has an intelligent reason for not liking the book; or at least picks issue with a particular historical event contained within; then fair enough; but their arguments should at least be based in attempting to be critical and logical. Unfortunately; every single one; without exception is resorting to personal attacks against the author. I hope those reading this will be more open minded and give this important work a chance.My advice is that you also carry out your own research afterwards; just like the author suggests. You will be surprised (or maybe not) to find that much of what we've been told our entire lives have been nothing but half-truths; selected facts and history from only the winning side. Often; entire events are omitted. When you're given the rest of the data; the entire context changes - And the result is often shocking.Speaking from a personal viewpoint; I was very critical about much of what this book states. I've read it twice now; once with a heavy heart; the second time from a cold analytical perspective as I corroborated selected 'blurbs' from within the book. I am satisfied that this is REAL.To give one example; I'd always wondered why Adolf Hitler allowed the British and French to escape at Dunkirk. My father used to say it was because "Hitler was mad;" but as a curious young man with a love of history; this explanation didn't satisfy. Recently; with the 70th anniversary of the evacuation; a professor on Sky News stated that he had no idea why Hitler allowed them to escape. The fact of the matter is that if the professor was minded to tell the viewers the real reason; he wouldn't have been allowed on the show in the first place. Why did Adolf Hitler allow the British to escape; against the pleadings of his generals; when he could have used the Luftwaffe to bomb them into oblivion before rounding up the survivors and ending the war in 1940 with a German victory?
