I have been there numerous times and have stayed at Willka Tika; the retreat center owned by this author. She has done her research carefully and knows the people and culture. True beauty and and passion!3 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Learning about Peru...By Bobbie T.I purchased this book thinking it would be a good resource book for third graders to read for a book report choice. After receiving this book; I realized it was definitely a book for adults; as the content was not third grade "friendly." If you are an adult wanting to learn about Peru; it's a good resource book with lots of history. I purchased this book for use as a book report choice; and there's no way a third grader could have read this as a book report book; let alone do a triorama project. I ended up donating this book to our school library for reference purposes.
