This book and the other two volumes are great if interested in the American Revolution in South CarolinaBy Giles ChavousThis book and the other two volumes are great if interested in the American Revolution in South Carolina. What is lacking is a companion book of maps (with period location names to the present names) to be able to follow the "action" since the books are chronological and moves from place to place. I was constantly having research various colonial names and places which is doable but tedious. The author by his own admission is not a professional historian but rather a person with a deep love of the Southern American Revolution.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. excellent book relating to the revolutionary war in the southBy Bill McDowellexcellent book relating to the revolutionary war in the south.
