One of the best books on Egyptology that I have readBy This UniverseThe author introduces key concepts in each chapter; and provides illustrative; very beautiful poems to give you the Egyptian feel and perspective. The poems that are chosen are powerful and exemplary of the key aspects of the Egyptian cosmology. After each poem; the author does a superb job of then describing what you just read. This complementary approach is like learning it twice or even three times; from different perspectives; thus giving you deep understanding. Not easy to come by in this kind of literature.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Five StarsBy Customervery good read0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. It's goodBy MysticJaguarThis is a fairly good reference book. It does seem a little dated. Would see this as a decent first reference for a youth doing school research.
