As such I have an extensive library of biographies and I am delighted to add this one to my collection. As noted by another reviewer; the quality of the print and photographs is poor. But; considering this book was published in 1932; with few remaining copies in existence; I am pleased to have it in any condition. Written 50 years after her death; It is one of the earliest researched biographies of Mrs Lincoln. A copy of the book was found on the shelves of the Kansas City Public Library; and this is a photocopy of that book. As stated by the publisher; "This book may have occasional imperfections such as missing or blurred pages; poor pictures; errant marks; etc. that were either part of the original artifact; or were introduced by the scanning process." Still; I find it an excellent source of information that has been well footnoted. As with every new document I read on Mary Todd Lincoln; I have found many new pieces of information and insights in this book to help me more deeply understand and portray this fascinating woman who helped to mold and influence our 16th president.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
