War; Religion and the Pursuit of Sex - the title says it all. But what the title doesn't capture is the grim determination and raw courage displayed on the battlefield when death is just a hand grenade away. Or the camaraderie existing between fighting men; differences in rank notwithstanding. Albeit unorthodox in its handling of subjects such as religion; sex and kowtowing to the military top brass; the book is a must-read if you're looking for accounts of action; loyalty and tenderness.
