Amazing JourneyBy Book HippieI would read one chapter; be amazed; look up the parts of history I didn’t know then read the next and proclaim; “Oh this is my favorite story!†then I’d read the next one and proclaim the same thing! What an amazing collection of stories. I learned a lot of the history I did not know and revisited some that I did. I was young in the 70s; but I remember most current events. Reading about California was a treat; as I love history it was a fun surprise on how much I learned.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Love this book!!By AKI can not recommend it highly enough. I happen to grow up in Los Angeles; so it's great to remember the places and stories written about; but you do not have to be from LA to enjoy these short stories.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. The 70'sBy kmn623I remember the brown beret stories growing up from my cousins who thought they were revolutionaries but really gang bangers. The Hillside Strangled case because my sister knew one of the killers; which one no clue . And the infamous Z channel. All the stories brought back many memories.
