It's author; Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal; was a student and attendant of His Holiness; and is a very respected teacher to many. From the intro to the last page this book gives insight into the lives of beings far different and greater than most. I found myself turning the pages; absorbed in reading; and then sadly finishing this book. The book starts in Tibet and ends on the other side of the Himalayas. In between then the reader is taken to Europe; America; and different parts of the world as well. This is a great book for anyone interested in His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche; anyone interested in the life of a great Buddhist master; and even non-Buddhists who may be interested in a well written biography about someone who lived a rich and joyous life different than most of ours.
