The build up of the Chadian army with French and American (USMC) assistance is discussed in considerable detail (more than I have seen previously); as are French air operations against Libyan targets; Libyan deployments of airpower support its operations; and the ground fighting which established Libya's proud record of defeat. Of further interest to me was the use of high tech weapons like pioneer drones and VTT/HOTs in support of Chadian mobile columns.
