Truly insightful...By Cat_Turned_BlueGranted; I am only through the first 100 or so pages; but the insight already gained from the first 1/3 of this book has been incredible. Please don’t look at this book as simply a history lesson on our Founding Fathers…it is so much more…and applicable to how many adults in this great country have forgotten their wisdom recently. I look forward to finishing this book and discussing it further with my students and children; so that they may gain a better understanding of what was in the minds of these great men...who understood their own weaknesses.39 of 39 people found the following review helpful. easy to readBy Christopher L. CairnsI received my copy today and read a little from each chapter over lunch. I’m ordering copies for each of my children and we will read and discuss over summer break. Well organized; easy to read; not dumbed-down. Lots of primary source references; Josh really did his homework. Be sure to grab two copies because you will want one to mark up.17 of 17 people found the following review helpful. AN EXCELLENT GUIDE FOR MILLENIALS TO UNDERSTAND WHAT MAKES AMERICA EXPEPTIONAL.By David E. CandlishI am eager to read this book and pleased to see there are those in this young generation who get what the founding fathers intended and why they created this great Republic. I call the Principles they set in motion; Core American Values. Timeless principles that are applicable for centuries to come. Yes technology will change; culture will change but not human nature. I am a bit confused as the header on this page says Foreword by Dennis Prager. My daughter and I both bought a copy from and there is no mention of Dennis in acknowledgements; back cover and/or inside cover. There are a couple of mentions that Mr Charles co authored a book with Glenn Beck. Well I would have bought the book anyways without Dennis' testimonial.
