More than that it made me see how important it is not to hold one viewpoint so tenaciously that you are prevented from considering new information. Interesting discussions of how the terrain was altered. I didn't always agree but I see real merit in the points he's made.3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Not long; but a good readBy JetpackI picked this up for free quite a while back - so long ago; no longer shows that I purchased it.....Anyway; at 1;723 locations long; it's not the biggest work; but it's a good read about Gettysburg; and has a good collection of maps; pictures and sketches. I don't pretend to know if the author is right; but he definitely is about the impact of time on memories and geography.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. A very interesting take on the battle that makes any Gettysburg enthusiast re-think a lot of things. Highly suggested!
