He Professor Longacre captures for us the details and bits and pieces involved in the major tactical battle of the "Southern Horsemen". Having a family member from the 1st Virginia Cavalry I never was told why we had horseshoes; spurs; and a bridle from the Civili War in my ancestors collection; now I know from reading this great book of non-fiction. By the by; the items from the ancestor were donated to the Virginia Historical Society collection with hopes they can be available for the generations to follow.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
