A good overviewBy pantherThis book is worth buying just because of its unique subject but it has good and bad aspects-First the good:The book gives very good chapters on the Italian fighters war over all. The fighter units war service and the overview of the aces in two more chapters. The bad:There was no info on the aircraft at all;armament;performance etc which in my option was necessary due to the unique subject; Also for the same reason more first person accounts or if unavailable more info on the tactics the Italian Aces used.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Osprey does it againBy scott baileyBook covers the theaters that each pilot made ace status. The Italian air force gets a bad rap in WW2 but this book shows the many aircraft and aces that fought with the germans as allies. The many front that this nation fought on are well documented. Great to see the truth come out. Great pictures and drawings of aircraft are shown. The reader gets to see the italian air force in action.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
