Oh; and by the way; Nelson demolishes the idea that young Lt. John Kennedy was at fault in any way when his boat got sunk. Quite the contrary - the man was an exemplary boat commander.(P.S. - As of this writing [9/24/2017] .com renders the name of this author as "Curtix." It's CURTIS. Sheesh.)3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. DisappointingBy BlueMuch; much time devoted to the political ins and out surrounding the US PT boat program inception. Disappointing lack of attention to the pluses and minuses of the two PT types and of their effectivenss in both the SW Pacific and the Philipines. Not a 'Buy' Recommendation in terms of general reading; but perhaps a fair reference for one wanting a place to start in writing a PT Boat Book.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
