It was his 'early open' present on Christmas Eve when we celebrated with his family. He became so engrossed he didn't want to open anything else. He tells me a new fact he's learned each time I see him. Great quality book for both adults and those children who are passionate about helicopters.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Having trouble choosing book about helicopter history? Choose this oneBy Ilja ToldayevI'm developing a game about combat helicopters and we have almost every helicopter factfile / encyclopedia book you could find. This one is probably the best. Illustrations are great; profiles and history references are on point; facts correspond with other sources. Great book for anyone interested in helicopter history. This is kind of book I would read for hours when I was a child.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Great helicopter bookBy CGSFWGGreat book; fun and informative to browse through.I was disappointed that it doesn't include either the AW101 or the S-92 that were in competition for the new "Marine One"; but other than that it's pretty comprehensive. I had already purchased "Modern Military Aircraft" that is in the same layout format; so now the two books make a great set.
