The book does a good job in explaining the various aspects of adolescence through case studies and collected data. The book is an easy read and does not possess useless jargon that will confuse the data. I enjoyed the content about the various aspects of child rearing when divided by race and/or ethnicity. The author was able to explain the processes in a way that anyone could understand which gave the book it's appeal. People that are not a part of academia can read and learn the material with ease. I would recommend this book to anyone seeking understanding about youth in terms of adolescence.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
