Great understanding of reasons Norwegians came to USBy Mary SperdutoWe have been tracking our Norwegian heritage and have found farms and relations in the Telemark; sigdahl; Hallingdahl areas. Others were much poorer from the Laerdal area. Leading of the cultural habits of family and land use were fasicinating. Learning this information helped one understand why family immigrated to Iowa and Wisconsin.
