The author just takes interviews and puts them in a time line format. He really does not add any thing new to it. Does not cover the call up or training in any detail. Photos were good(b/w); but the maps were basic hand drawn of Korea; not a lot detail. Courage Under FireBy ron GramseThis book contains the memoirs of many young soldiers of the 213th FA who were involved in that Forgotten War in Korea. It exemplifies their courage during the first year to eighteen months of combat where there was not any KIA from their unit in spite of the severity of some of the battles they were involved in. Many of these men were in their late teenage years or early twenties when they were sent to Korea. They performed above and beyond their expectations. These soldiers; and many others of the Korean War should never be forgotten for what they have endured during this time. It is sad but it is truly a Forgotten War. They need to be recognized for their courage just as others who participated in other wars were. They should not be Forgotten!!
