Learn how the seeds of the Trump presidency were sown in the Obama White House. In this unvarnished account of faith inside the world's most powerful office; Michael Wear provides unprecedented insight into the highs and lows of working as a Christian in government. Reclaiming Hope is an insider's view of the most controversial episodes of the Obama administration; from the president's change of position on gay marriage and the transformation of religious freedom into a partisan idea; to the administration's failure to find common ground on abortion and the bitter controversy over who would give the benediction at the 2012 inauguration. The book is also a passionate call for faith in the public square; particularly for Christians to see politics as a means of loving one's neighbor and of pursuing justice for all. Engrossing; illuminating; and at times provocative; Reclaiming Hope changes the way we think about the relationship of politics and faith."Reclaiming Hope will certainly give you a fresh perspective on politics--but; more importantly; it may also give you a fresh perspective on faith."--Andy Stanley; senior pastor of North Point Ministries"An important and extremely timely book...Get it; read it; and talk to others about it." --Timothy Keller; author of Reason for God"An important contribution in this age of religious and political polarization." --J.D. Vance; author of Hillbilly Elegy"A lifeline for these times." --Ann Voskamp; author of One Thousand Gifts and The Broken Way"We can hope; and this book can help us." --Russell Moore; president of the Ethics Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention

This is "Sailboat Porn". Get excited looking at beautiful pictures of beautiful boats in beautiful places with the occaisonal beautiful women. It can be fun. However; if you want to learn how to sail; but a different book. The rare technical diagrams are not even very cat-specific.Save your money!5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Just Tries to Convince You to Buy a CatBy JerryThe book spent the majority of the time explaining why you should purchase a catamaran over a monohull. If you are trying to decide if you want to purchase a catamaran this book does a great job of explaining the differences between the two types of boats. If you are looking at it as a book to learn how to sail; maintain or use a catamaran then this is not the right book. Definitely not worth the price unless you you have no idea what a catamaran is.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Little about cruising. Great content on Naval Architecture and Design. Very VERY BAD printing qualityBy David ABThis book is not about cruising on catamarans. It is however a great book about naval architecture and design of catamarans; with two shallow chapters that mostly compare semanship and heavy weather aspects of cruising with monohulls. It should be called "The complete Guide for Experienced Monohull Cruisuing Sailors"Also; it feels like its printed on an ink jet printer on vary bad quality paper. Pages curl!!!! It feels like I printed a PDF at home and that's what I'm reading. Shame on you McGraw Hill
