However; it should be pointed out that not all forces and colonies are covered and is therefore incomplete.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Pictures are sensational and the range of insignia is very impressive. The book also has an excellent range of original photos of old units that adds a great deal to the book and helps bring it all alive. I was particularly impressed by the Asian and West Indian sections. I had no idea of the range of British colonial units. The book brings alive the British Empire in a way I have not seen before. Should be on the bookshelf of anyone interested in military history even if they're not badge collectors.
